Co-developed with enthusiasts: The BlackShell is the result of close collaboration with ultra-trail runners, developed through workshops and field tests, to create a product that perfectly meets the demands of long-distance races.

Compatible with 12L backpack: Thanks to its origami construction, you can easily put the jacket on over a 12L trail backpack for full protection without compromising your gear.

3-layer membrane: With a waterproof rating of 20K Schmerber and breathability of RET < 4.5, this jacket keeps you dry while allowing optimal sweat evaporation. All of this with a lightweight of just 50g/m².

Ergonomic hood with visor and headband: The reinforced visor protects your eyes from the elements, while the integrated headband ensures the hood moves with your head, offering clear vision at all times. The high collar effectively protects your neck.

Waterproof zipper and snap button: Controlled ventilation through a waterproof zipper and snap button at the chest, allowing ventilation from the bottom while keeping the jacket closed.

A discreet cuff flap offers subtle protection for the top of your hands.

Inner layer: 100% Polyamide
Membrane: 100% Polyester
Outer layer: 100% Polyamide

The inner and outer layers of the jacket are made in France (spinning, weaving, dyeing) by our partner Payen. The membrane is laminated in Italy by Vagotex, while the final assembly takes place in Portugal at Petratex.

In total, only 1,490 km separate each step of production, nearly 30 times less than for a product made in Asia. This results in a carbon footprint of 3.57 kg CO2eq, which is a 67% reduction compared to a jacket of the same weight produced in Asia.
